GROW wins NOVA Innovation Award

At the virtual awards ceremony of the NOVA Innovation Awards of German Newspapers on 28 September 2021, the GROW Digital Group stood up to strong competition and was recognised as a marketing innovation by a jury of experts.

Under the motto "Innovations need a stage", the BDZV announced the award for the fifth time. Wolfram Kiwit, editor-in-chief of Ruhr Nachrichten (Dortmund) and chairman of the jury, said about the jury's decision: "The result in the three categories product innovation, marketing innovation and new business fields shows that the industry remains innovative despite or even because of the pandemic, the quality of the submissions was consistently very good and we can learn a lot from each other again."

Lutz Jurkat, CEO of GROW, is ecstatic about this unique award: "The award is a special recognition - not only for our young agency group - but also for our colleagues at NOZ/mh:n. We hope it will encourage other media houses to look beyond their own core competencies and think more disruptively."

The award ceremony took place as part of the large annual meeting of the BDZV digital at the "BDZV. The Congress" in the capital. The event's programme included renowned guests such as Dr Mathias Döpfner (BDZV President and CEO Axel Springer SE), Brad Smith (Microsoft President) and Markus Lanz as moderator.
